Rachel Josselyn

“Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves.” Matthew 14:19

Rachel is the Director of Loaves & Fishes.  As someone who is extremely passionate about food, she brings a wealth of experience that she is excited to share with our clients, volunteers, and community partners.  Rachel began her career in the culinary arts at Rocky Mountain Chefs of Colorado and Red Rocks Community College. Upon graduation she worked in several local restaurants and now brings her chef training to ensure that our community can meet its food needs in an easily accessible and nutritious manner. Rachel has a strong faith that underpins not just her commitment to service, but also “to live my life by show and not tell” (1 Samuel 2:3).  She believes in the power of joyfulness and has a strong work ethic, both of which she learned from her grandfather!

Our Board

Our board consists of 9 members with a variety of skills and expertise. This provides for a robust understanding of the local community, professional and educated referrals for psychosocial support, strong financial and legal guidance, community advocacy and cohesive fundraising efforts, all while ensuring that we remain focused on our mission with a shared call to service; one that is grounded in integrity, strong processes, and transparent relationships.

Volunteers

Our Volunteers: Loaves & Fishes is blessed to have the support of over 30 volunteers who spend close to 4,000 hours per year supporting our food pantry clients.  We simply could not keep Loaves & Fishes running without the time, care and compassion given by our volunteers.
